Young Professionals for International Cooperation (YPIC)

What is YPIC?

YPIC is for 21-40 year olds engaged in informational and action oriented

events for international issues. They meet throughout the Fall and Spring ,

and frequently notify their members through their Facebook page.

They hold events featuring professionals working in international relations

and internatonal develpoment.  YPIC in Tucson celebrated UN Day 2009 with

the fabulous band, The Key Ingredients of Afrcian Soul and contributed to UNICEF

for Haiti Relief in 2010!  They partner with the Management Information Systems

Graduate Students Association at the Univeristy of Arizona, and have held joint

programs with Change for Chagne, a non-profit organization.

Who Can Join?

Anyone who is 21-40 years old and interested in their agenda is welcome to join!

How Can I Join?

You can download a membership form (click here) from the United Nations

Assocaition of Southern Arizona and chose "YPIC" for membership type and send

the form and $10 to UNA-SA, 6242 E. Speedway, Tucson, Arizona 85712-5129.

If you send a check, PLEASE make out your check to "UNA-USA", our national

organization, rather than to "UNA-SA". our local chapter, with a notation for YPIC

below. Thank You!. Your membership wil be processed and you will be sent a

membership card in the mail to the adress you provide.

What Do I get?

You will be invited to all the YPIC events throughout the year, in addition to the

educational events of the United Nations Assocaition of Southern Arizona. In

addition you will receive the electronic newsletter of  UNA-SA in your e-mail

three times a year, and the periodic World Bulletin published by UNA-USA on

timely UN themes.
